The day after I picked up my Rebel with just a 55mm kit lens there was a small air show in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. One of the headline acts was the F-15E Strike Eagle team of Ritz and Wild, and there was vapour in the air. Not a bad shot for my first day shooting with a DSLR, if I do say so myself...

Here is one that I captured ,not from the same show this was at Scott AFB but a decent cotton ball behind (Nuke) Sam Joplin the demo pilot and the same aircraft as the NAS Jacksonville demo.

Thanks, everybody for the responses. I am really enjoying hanging around here. Before I put any money in an expensive camera and equipment, I plan to squeeze all the learning I can out of my little S-series. I can see I have a long way to go, but I'm having fun. Here's the Eagle going the other way. High-G turns + 100% humidity = instant clouds.
