Where to obtain camcorder batteries?
Camcorder batteries are running about $100, but there are after-market batteries for about $20.
1 - Are these "after-market" batteries just as good? 2 - Is there a reputable place that is selling Canon HV30 batteries for $20 or so? |

This is my place of choice for aftermarket batteries. I don't know if they have them for the HV30, but you can take a look.
http://www.sterlingtek.com/index.html If you look around on the forum, they are the recommended place for aftermarket BP-511 batteries in a lot of the Canon DSLRs. |
