Im curious to your lighting setup as well. I like them all. The first one, I would clone out that light on the left though.

thanks guys....i had 3 lights....
shot around 1600 ISO f4-f5 ...1/60-1/30 range 2 lights behind the fam. one left one right and a big umbrella camera left or camera right in front....all q-flashes

I really like the first one. I like the line in the concrete that leads into the family. I like that the lights in the background circle the image. However, as others have said...I would remove that bright light on the left. Great image!

Pretty neat shot, but where is the fountain?! (reminds me of the opening scene to the show Friends.)

Thanks guys....the cropis 8x12 so they can get an 8x10 out of it if they want...i didnt crop for the web...but thanks for all the comments guys...makes me want to do more family shoots...i wasnt a big fan of them...but now i like them

I like the last one the best and I feel the OOF lights in the background make it work better than if they were sharp! Did you carry a couch out there for the shoot? Nice idea for a family portrait.

the studio i work for is right in that shopping center...it was about a 80 yard walk
