okay nothing personal in any of these observations
photo #2 you blew out (overexposed the back ground and underexposed your car.) Black cars are harder to photograph if you have a photoshop or elements you could bring back the exposure on the background a bit. Alternatively do not blindly follow the exposure your camera suggests don't be afarid to udnerexpose or over expose or combine to get the effect you want. The composition is nice but the ground is tilted a bit that is an easy mistake to make. The car is so dark you do not see the reflections at all. That is a hard situation to photograph because of the extremes of lighting it can be done but it is more advance and maybe you should have stayed with it all in shade or sun. Picture number one the compostion does not do much it is confusing if you eant o focus on the pumps or the car. The caris not lit very well so it seemd extra to the photo. The reflections on the hood are distracting as well. The photo of the tire is bleah. Getting started and showing your photos is hard I do not mean to discourage you. Keep shooting and learning and showing your photos here By and large people will be critical if you ask but it is to teach you to be better. There are almost a infinate amount of resources availble on the internet. The nice thing about getting started now instead of when I was young is that digital once you buy one is cheap to shoot a lot and see your output and how you can do it better. digital dark rooms ie photoshop paintshop pro are a lot of fun and you don't get messey chemical all over you!

lets deconstruct this picture of my old supra. note the sunny background is properly exposed at the same time I preserved the shadow detail. The point of the picture is to demonstrate the reflections in clean car and I did a little post processing to bring out the red of the car as well. The red and the green are not complementary colors so it makes it look redder I made the mistake that the base is crooked and I am not sure the perspective quite works. In fact the position of that particular car it is probably not flattering to its form.
