Default Gazebo In The woods...C&C Please!

Hey guys,

Actually, this was on the campus of a University and didn't know what else to call it ...I like the way this one turned out with the processing..I know it might be a bit busy, but this for some reason looks like an HDR image to me. C&C Please!

Thank you!

If it wasn't for the gate in the background right in the center I would think this is some very cold and desolate place. A little erie. I like it.

I like it. Funny you said it reminds you of an HDR, because it gives me the same impression as well. Wouldn't have even noticed that gate back there, btw

To me it doesn't, but others might think differently. I'd like to hear what others say about this though. I don't believe I sharpened it too much.

Thanks for the comment!

It does look HDR, i like the way the processing has separated the main subject from the trees, gives in a sense of depth.
Not so keen on the bang in the middle composition and the very narrow tone range.it hurts my eyes.
Mind you i got zero sleep last night so they might be a bit over sensitive right now

Thanks for the comment! I know composition is one thing I NEED to work on. I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say "very narrow tone range" is it because it's a high contrast monotone image?

Thanks again!

is it crooked or are all the trees leaning slightly to the right?

And the metal gate is a distraction.

I think the trees are leaning lol..if you look at the tree in the center of the gazebo..it's perpendicular to one of the posts in the gazebo...I'll try to clone out that gate this weekend.

Thanks for the comment!

Yes that exactly what i meant by Narrow Tone range (aka high contrast) Nothing wrong with that i undecided if it works with this image, for me at least.
