Default Canon 5dMk11 and Canon m30 storage

Hi, I'm due off on a long holiday to Australia and New Zealand next week with my 5D Mk11 and need to think about an external storage device. Have been looking at the Canon m30 which I know will be ok for stills but not sure about its compatability with 5D HD video. Can anyone help? Many thanks
