the overhead cables really spoil the picture, can you clone them out?

Much improved, makes a big difference to the impact of the image.One slight snag, i can clearly see the cloning marks in the sky.

Yeah I'm not sure what tools you used to remove the lines, but try the patch tool, and then switch to the clone stamp to do the fine details. The key is to keep your sky clean so you never knew the lines were there.

Dave, you are truly a trooper! This kid is out in some severe cold just to shoot that photo. My hat is off to you, but you can't have my gloves!

I used the clone tool... im not the greatest with PS, I know this was an easy one but still... lol not good at all... lol

Not in love with the shot, lacks depth and the textures are not very roch for a B&W shot
