Default '65 Mustang Roadster 302

Lonnie's '65 Mustang Roadster is a treatment of a Ford concept car developed for Auto Shows "back when". They went to the crusher. Another similar one is in California.
It has the 302cid motor putting out 350bhp after some mild tweaking by JoMar Racing who go WAY back with sports car & NASCAR racing. Trans is a World Class T5 5-speed pushing a Ford 8" positraction 3.20 rear end. It gets 25mpg.

It's a full-frame restoration starting in '05 & took 10,000 hours to complete in time for this years Autorama. The 'Stang has been appraised for $56,000, & is for sale. Any takers? I have Lonnie's phone number if you are.

He expects to drive it about 500 miles a year.

Note: this one will look dark with a non color managed browser. See my Sig.

Worth all that work?

My all time favorite custom wheels with a nice insert. No bling, just made for business.

There's a nice view of the gas cap in "Stickers". Carz Stickerz

Nice one Frank, This looks like a cross between a "California Special" (remember those?), and a Shelby.

Everyone has their own idea of what's an "Ideal car", so remind us what ideal car you're driving?

i dont like mustangs much myself... they're everywhere, there's nothing really "special" about them. And with 10,000 man hours it's only appraised at $56,000? Someone was slacking

As you said, they're everywhere, & this isn't an original. But enough judges liked it to give it 1st place, so he's earned it's place on the road?
