Default A few Christmas eve bugs

Few shots taken on Christmas eve.

Insect larva about 2mm body length - possibly a grass fly Lonchoptera



Globular springtails



rear hair length record (just reaches left side of frame- about 1.6mm hair length)

Wow, fantastic stuff here. I love those springtails; I've never seen those before. The colouration on them is amazing.

And my hat off to you for managing focus on such tiny insects! Yeesh.
