It seems a bit too dark, and mostly out of focus. I love the meaning and significance, I just think it needs to stand out more.
Try some post processing to bring out the rusted colors and see what you come up with. |

PS nube here too, but I would suggest a selection of the steel pieces, bumping up the saturation and adjusting the brightness/contrast/sharpness of the pieces as you go. The granite looks like it needs a nudge too.

The subject is good, but it could use a bit of brightening up. I just did a few curves/levels and tried to fix the distortions, hope you don't mind.
