Very cool! I wish i could find deal that won't run. Everytime i slowly creep up on deer they just run.

Very nice, are these wild deer. The last one is my favourite also as I'm not gone on the close-up shots.

These are wild deer, but they are in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The deer there probably get there photo taken with a cell phone camera or p&s hundreds of times each day. All you have to do stand still with a 300mm and they don't mind at all. I can usually get within 15 ft of most, but it's best to stay back and not harass them like the cell phone hordes.

Is there any snow on the ground there now? It'd be a great time to get some images of winter deer in the snow, while they still have their antlers.

Great shots. I made 3 trips to Cades Cove this year and got some good ones also.
