Default Tried Kodak Eltanar 2X on G1???

Hi G1 folks:

Anyone here tried using the Kodak Ektanar 2X tele-converter on G1? It has 43mm thread. I heard it has good quality lens for only US$60. I also think it won't block the focus emitter of G1.

I couldn't find many photos taken with it. If anyone of you has it or tried it, please share your experience.

Thanks

Arif

I just wonder how that is supposed to be attached to G1, since the smallest thread I'm aware is in Lensmate, and it is 49mm?

You use a stepdown ring from 49 to 43mm. I have one to fit my Tiffen 2x.

I have a Tiffen 2X tele and the adapter that fits it to my G1 uses a 43mm thread. The adapter only cost about 10 bucks at Circut City if I remember right. If your Kodak lens is 43mm I see no reason that it wouldn't work .
