silk sprint gm
hi all.. i know there are lots of threads about tripods. so sorry to make another. i cannot afford a 200 dollar tripod but i am willing to spend about 100 at the most. i did find a good deal on one here in Windsor.
does anyone know if this is a decent tripod? I have the XS with the kit lens and im going to buy the 55-250 but probably nothing larger or heavier.
thanks for your help

Re: silk sprint gm
I have the Slik Sprint Pro GM (slightly different from this one I think). It's my lightweight, moderately sturdy and ultra cheap travel tripod. My primary is still a Manfrotto 3021BPro. I use a common Manfrotto head.
You need to still upgrade your head to something a bit more respectable even if you buy this thing.
See my post (#13) on this thread:
I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?
