its very representative of the UK residential landscape.. i got that right away and i think you did a good job of portraying that in this photo.. then i looked at your info to see if it really was from the UK.. so what im saying is.. good job

I have a quick question, during the expsoure a guy went past on a bike, he was in my frame, but didnt appear on the image, is this because he wasnt on the exposure long enough?

Prefer the third photo you posted, James.
And yes, the good thing about long exposures is it doesn't matter too much if people walk in front of your camera when you're taking the shot. Depending on the length of the exposure, and the amount of movement from the subject, they might not even appear in the final photograph. I was taking a photo at a museum recently and someone walked in front of the camera. I didn't mind a bit as I knew the exposure was so long (10 seconds or so) that he wouldn't even be a blur. |
