Default Engagement photo.

Hi guys. I've posted quite a bit over in the nature and landscape section, but never here. My girlfriend and I got engaged recently on our trip over to Kaua'i back in August. We're actually planning to get married back on Kaua'i this upcoming September. Anyways, after getting engaged, my new fiance wanted to 'recreate' the proprosal so I did my best to set up a shot that would best recreate the original proposal.

Here's what I came up with. Thoughts? Comments? Critiques? Thanks in advance.

Cool concept, but it appears to me slightly underexposed, or just plain dark. And the forground (subject) of the couple seems to be a bit OOF. Maybe it's just my eyes. Color is good. Compostitonally, I'd rather see the intendeds's face.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the OOF part is me trying to add that "glow" to the photo. I don't think I was successful in doing that. Any ideas that may help me add that "glow" without making it look OOF? I should check my levels again I suppose. The light was changing pretty fast, as the sun was setting, and running back and forth was getting to become a bit tedious, especially with thongs on the lava rock.
