I don't know why, but I took this photo a while back while doing construction on my 1918 home, and I keep getting drawn to it.

You keep getting drawn to it because it is an excellent image. Interesting composition. Somber feel. Great textures. Focus in just the right places. Its really a very nice image. I'm glad you posted it.

Yay!! Thanks!! I'm glad to see someone who "gets" this photo.
There has been a sadness over our house sometimes while we've been working on it. The living room, where this photo was taken, was probably one of the worst as we almost gave up on wood floors in there. |
