Default Gallipoli/Gelibolu

Visited Gallipoli yesterday.Wow what a feeling the place leaves you with.
For those who donīt know. Gallipoli is where many Australians fought and died in WWI. There are sites dedicated to Turkish, British, Australian and New Zealand (ANZAC) soldiers.
Very moving place.
This is the main cemetry for the ANZACS






The Sphinx
This formation was aptly named the Sphinx. It was a major landmark for the ANZAC troops

Nicely shot! #2 in particular captures the moody feeling of a cemetery like this one.
