Default Miami in March(Seeking advice from people who've been there)

Hi there... I'm heading to Miami(South Beach) late March for work. They're picking up the air fare, so I'm going to stay an extra night for photography. Maybe two if I get enough ideas from the group. Where are the great places to take photos Any "secret" spots I shoot a lot of nature and landscape, but would love to get into urban life as well, so I know I'll be in the art deco district at night!

Thanks a lot for any ideas!!!

Why not run over to the Everglades?

If you get to one of the islands (dodge or watson island) - Mcarthur causeway is usually lit up at night these days.

If your in the actual city - don't walk around with your camera gear anywhere but downtown - and then do it quickly. Just re-read and see your headed to miami beach. Much safer there. Holocaust memorial is just breathtaking - the drag on Ocean Drive is kinda boring in my opinion (for photos). Versace's house is towards the north end. Collins Ave is filled to the brim with nice hotels. Washington Ave less so. If you have a car - head north a bit towards Bal Harbour for some VERY nice buildings.
