Default Melbourne Big Day Out - a couple of teasers

I'm in the middle of processing over 3,500 photos I took at the Big Day Out yesterday - I'll be posting a few sets but in the meantime here are a couple of teasers.

It was the first time I used my new acquisition, a second-hand 5D - it was my second body to my 1D Mark III - the second photo was taken with it - I'm very impressed with it so far.

Neil Young

Nice shots mate. I went to a gig at the Hi-Fi Bar today and I ended up with around 550 photos (filled a 4GB card, some RAW and unfortunately changed to JPEG) and I thought that was a lot to process! I'm not far through it at all. Have fun doing what I'm doing multiplied by a fair bit haha.

Neil Young is the best. I like the expression and the moment.

I didn't shoot Pendulum or Prodigy at the BDO so you will have to see them from someone else - you can't be in more than one place at one time!

Cool - I shot them a while back when they were out and they were pretty good.

No it wasn't 3200 - I was a bit underexposed so I boosted the exposure a bit in post - I still like the shot a lot though. I kinda like the grain - I could have used some NR but prefer it the way it is.
