Default Buying a bag for my cam

is this a good deal ?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1215217301008

comes with the bag, extra battery, and a lens filter..

Quote:
  • Compatible with Canon XSI digital SLR cameras
  • Includes carrying case, lithium-ion battery, lens cleaning cloth and UV filter
  • All-weather cover on carrying case protects against harsh elements; tricot-brushed fabric interior protects your camera against bumps and scratches
  • Removable, adjustable dividers, so you can customize the bag for your needs
  • Built-in memory card organizer and extra pockets for accessory storage
  • Lithium-ion battery provides power to up to 600 shots per charge
  • 58mm UV filter (compatible with Canon LP-E5) protects the lens against scratches and filters out UV for clearer pictures
  • Microfiber lens and LCD cleaning cloth to remove smudges
Im asking because I don't really want a big bag, just for my XSI and its lens that will be at the moment..

I'm not saying you failed, just suggesting that you may get a better response in that section.

usually I stay away from these kits but I think this is ok...
If you like the bag and need a "canon" battery, this is pretty good because from amazon, the bag is 65 and the battery is 35 which is $100.
The filter is probably garbage, but it is free and the lens cloth is just a $5 accs. but then again, it is another $5 towards an accs...
to each their own. and if they have it at your local BB, there's also instant gratification.
Good luck.

I picked up that kit back in December because I was in a hurry to have a bag for my XS. Not bad. No problems with the battery. Filter is pretty much crap. The bag is nice, but I am at my limit with it already, probably get a backpack next.

Well, im only planning to get one more lens... and thats gonna be one of those wide shots.

So in the bag I'll be carrying

Camera(xsi)
Original Lens (18-55mm)
SD cards
Battery
Charger
USB cable/Card Reader

They have a couple other cheaper Bags at BB but for 10-15 more bucks, i think i could use an extra battery..

Mainly I don't want a big bag..
The "official" rebel bag they have for like 100+ its kinda too big.
This one's smaller.

The Canon 200DG bag should cover all that stuff.

I'd suggest not. Get your self a decent bag that you LIKE. Not something that you will end up throwing in the closet. Check out some of the bags in the sticky.

Get extra batteries from www.sterlingtek.com, you will save money.
