Here are a couple versions of a photo I took today.
The first is original as it was shot. ![]() The second is after turning 1/2 of it into a PHDR and doing some major photoshopping with my magic wand and saturation to get the blue shadows out. Still in print the blue shadows show more than I want... as in I want NO BLUE SHADOWING. There must be a better way to edit these than the way I've been doing it. How would one go about editing this correctly? ![]() Maybe I am just being to picky.... but I would really appreciate any help in figuring out how to correct this problem. Thanks. Aaron

Hoff,
Thanks for the reply... and the kind words. You really made me feel better about it. Unfortionatly however... in my print it still shows up more than I would like. I want my photos to look as good as everyone elses on here. LOL So I take it I am going about getting rid of the blue in the right way? Another question is; Isn't blue shadowing a result of white ballance? What is a good starting point when shooting in igloo land? I know about custom setting the white ballance by reverting back to a previous photo, but at that point I saw no equal lighting oppertunity to do so. Is there a better way, or can this be overcome in the first place? Thanks again. Aaron
