Yep, kinda of a French Redneck. Do miss living in Louisiana, don't , miss the bugs and humidity though.

Being the nerd I am, I chose to use an AC-circuit-theory term as my name. It's supposed to help n00bs remember whether voltage across a reactive passive element leads or lags the current through it.

If that wasn't weird enough, I've begun responding to the name Eli in real life. My name isn't Eli.

I add an extra "R" or "A" to my name to see if it gets sold to mailing list.. or used to.. Now halve the time I spell my own name wrong.

I like golf (duh), the writings of Hunter S. Thompson, and I look a bit like the character from the Muppet Show.

I used to be in a band back when I was in high school and it was common for people in my scene to call people in known bands by there first name with either their bands name or something similar. A friend was in a band called Hatchet and Annie so he was called Robbie Hatchet by everyone... I was in a grind band so I was called Tristin Grind; I now use this for every forum I belong to regardless of what the general topic is.

here is what grind is if you dont know

Don't worry! I'm finding that the older I get, the less I know.

Not sure when I came by this nickname, but about 10 years ago I started shaving my head, figured it looked better this way (for me) versus the hair line in full retreat.
