Default Teleconverter

Anyone had any experience, or know of any reviews on the Focus Optics 52mm 2.0x teleconverter, or the 46mm 2.5x teleconverter

http://www.dc-accessories.com/

I've read most of the postings on this board on teleconverters and had pretty much decided to go for the Oly B-300, but I can't find anything on the Focus Optics lenses apart from the retail site above?? Any views??

I don't really have many more details that what is on their website. They are very helpful, but they don't have any sample photos taken with either G1 or G2. Anyhow, it is of little consequence to me now, as I have decided to trade my G2 in or a Fuji 602. The teleconverters are just not as good as a full telephoto lens, and the G3 seems little better than the G2...

I am using the Kenko KUT-HI 3X telephoto conversion
lens. It works and does a fair job but you still have
some dark edges.

Default Kenko LD-20T

I have a brand new Kenko LD-20T 1.85X teleconverter that I bought from a German web site for $99. It is not available in the U.S. It was highly rated on Kazutoku's teleconverter site (do a Google on "Kenko LD-20T") for use with the Canon G2. It did not, however, work well with my Minolta Dimage 7. I will sell it for $70. Shipping in the U.S. is $5. It is 52mm-threaded on the camera end, and accepts 67mm filters.

Hi,

Is your kenko Ld-20T still available? Are you able to ship to Singapore? Email me at spd07@pacific.net.sg

Harryelmo - Thanks for your comments about the Kenko 3x - any chance I could see some of your pictures on that? I haven't been able to find any evaluations or pictures on that lens yet and am very interested in knowing more?

Thanks

Dave
