I believe G2 wont show the memory card inside camera as a removable drive in PC? Many digital cameras today show your memory card as a removable media in PC. That makes previewing and deleting photos from a card very easy. Does anyone happen to know does this depend on camera model, software or memory card?
I heard there is a small software, which can show your CF-card this way, but I don't know exactly. Anyone else heard this kind of thing, or happen to know where this program is available etc? |

I use a memory card reader to transfer images from G2 and an Elf. Also have used an USB smart card reader for an Olympus.
They all show up in the my computer list as drives with a letter assigned. In Breeze Downloader you browse for the removable drive letter that IDs the memory card. It works like a charm. This appears to be a function of Windows and the memory card reader not the camera. DMW |
