My S30 is about 7 years old. It appears to have lost power from the internal battery, which maintains the time and date data when I remove the main battery (which I always do when not using the camera).
This means every time I turn the camera on, it asks me to input the time and date. I can either do so, or just ignore it by pressing the menu button, and start taking photos. Of course if I do the latter, I have no time/date stamp on the image. Is it possible to replace this internal battery oneself, or does it have to go to a technician? Thanks for your responses. |
