Default Cactus V2s vs CTR-301

Guys,
What's the verdict on these two cheap flash triggers? I am not sure if there are any more contenders in < 50$ flash trigger market. I am newbie, don't care if there are a few missed triggers. I searched the forums and I couldn't find a proper comparison. Any advice much appreciated.

I've got some V2s triggers. for their price, they do the job. I bought them (second hand) just to see how I liked getting off camera. If you plan to get serious, you'll have to upgrade.

All reviews say that the CTR-301 are far superior, but then there are new Cactus's coming out soon. Go for the CTR's.

Instead of buying the V2's from overseas ebay, you can get them for $36 from Midwest photo out of Ohio.
