Default Armageddon It

Gran Prix Valcourt hosted the newly formed ISOC series, which took over the bankrupt WPSA Snocross series, and it's new format leaves a bit to be desired IMO. But when the stars of the series take to the track, it truly is something to behold, as they blitzkreig the technical track. Weatherwise the weekend was mostly overcast with snow, save for Saturday afternoon, but it was great to see the Ski-Doo gang get shut out of the top spot on the box at their own track.

This is one of the few times when I am trackside, that anyone ever hears me say "Holy ****" as I watch these guys do things on a sled, that most folks can't imagine. Here's a couple from when the sun actually shone.

Just caught this thread before getting dressed to go shoot this afternoons practice session in nasty cold Kirkland Lake, Ontario and trying to get excited to stand outside in -33 windchill values with a strong northwest wind, so you know which way I'll be pointing the camera.....LOL

Here's a couple more from Valcourt.

Your third shot in this thread is one of the best motorsport shots I have seen in a very long time. Absolutely superb.

Thanks for posting the extra two shots.

Simon.

Valcourt is where they make the sleds i believe, so they got beat at their "home" track you could say.
