Hey.
I have heard about the feature on the 1D Mark III, but I was wondering if it was possible on the 1D Mark II also? I don't want to limit the burst speed (recording speed, number of frames per second (FPS)), but limit the number of shots I can get in a series, BUT KEEP the 8,5 FPS. Like for example getting 8,5 pictures per second, but only for 3 shots and not till the buffer is full. Please give me a note if it's not understandable enough, and I'm sorry my english sucks... |

Just out of curiosity, where do you use something like this?

For example for bird or sport photography. Instead of bursting the hole buffer full, you could limit the "sprays" and series to a smaller number and be better to "push the button" in just the right time.
There is VERY few situations when there is NEED for 40 pics in a row with 8,5 fps, if you know what I mean? |
