Default Lough Neagh time trial

Went to time trial around the concrete roads of a local estate, good days fun but not great place for photos, not a spectacular as last weeks jump, shot with 40D. EXIF is attached for those interested.

#1 Seamus O'Connell. Canon 70-200f2.8

#2 Canon 17-40f4

#3 Rally preparation expert Derek McGeehan claimed second overall in a fantastic sounding Toyota Celica GT4. Siggy 120-300 with 1.4x

#4 Tried to get this shot on a few occasions. Canon 70-200 f2.8

#5 Gary Price well presented MK2. Canon 70-200 f2.8

#6 Another fine looking Mk2. Canon 70-200

#7 Rally winner Ryan Graffin Mitsubishi Evo. Canon 70-200

#8 Trying some different for a bit of variety Siggy 120-300

Thanks for looking
Jim

A fine series Jim.
Really good to see shots off differant lenses and the results.
Hard to pick a favourite but must say your photography has come on hugely of late.
Really good stuff !

Thanks Chris for your kind remarks. It was a bland place to get a variety of shots. Good job it was before Ireland won the Rugby as the black stuff was flowing.

Superb collection of shots there Jim, all look fantastic and the weather was favourable again, my favourite is the 'Toner' Escort it just looks immaculately turned out, very well captured.

Yep hoping to get out for at least 1 maybe 2 days to the event, haven't been to Co.Down or Armagh stages for a few years now. Hoping to buy my COI programme online from website, and maybe get a recce over the stages next weekend, also going to retire my 55-200 Tamron and try out a 100-300mm F4-5.6 USM for the weekend. Hoping that improves the results - not quite L glass yet I know but I'll give it a go !

Cheers Alan. As far as I know the Saturday stages are round the Banbridge and Rathfriland area with service in Banbridge, the Sunday stages are in the Cooley mountains south of Newry with service in Newry,
Jim
