Nice - but that's the reason why I use a different brand, everyone has a pelican - I want to see my case from across the room/field etc.

I just needed more protection....love their gear. The 1080 is on the bottom right....I can fit my macbook there with a little extra room. I took the 1510 to a shoot at the beach yesterday and actually used it as a stool to stand on.....it totally helped out...then when a huge wave came up and my pants got totally soaked.....not a drop inside the case. I got home and hosed off the case....Im a believer now.

Well, at least your gear won't get wet :)

Have a strong opinion against Storm cases?

yup, the silver case is a zero haliburton...........first one I packed was the 1510. I put all my junk from my lowepro flipside in it. I am currently using the dividers not the pick and pluck. I also havent put the lid organizer yet. There's a company called studio cruiser who sells a modified 1510 with a laptop section on the top lid......I wonder if I can do some mods on mine to accomodate my macbook

Gotta love Pelicans, you can't have too many of them.

I have a first aid kit in my truck that I keep in an orange Peli. That way when I get in a wreck and am bleeding to death on the side of the road, I know my first aid kit will survive and someone will see the orange thing and save my life.
