I'm aware there are very few Zeiss samples around and been a few threads of late so I thought I'd post some from my 50mm 2.0 T* Makro-Planar ZF.
I have lots of 50mm shots but because I owned the Zeiss 1.4 as well for quite a while and the MF lenses don't record EXIF (and I don't file by lens) it's pretty hard for me to remember which lens took what. So, these are a cross section of different types of shots that I know were taken with the Makro-Planar. I mainly do B&W with it but I dropped in a couple of colour. The slippers shot has colour straight from the camera, while the Goldfinches in a cage shot is processed: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a beautiful lens to use. The focus ring is very nice. I like the blacks and colours with it. Has very natural sharpness.

The 50/2 is a excellent lens, it has less loca then its big brother.
Bokeh is also very good compared to other 50mm primes. |

This may be silly but what is 'loca'? Chromattic Abberation?
I want this baddie but am contemplating a ZF 2/50 makro + adapter... perhaps I'll wait!...

2 of my first screwing around shots using the ZF (optically identical to the ZE) version of this lens on a 5D.
My apologies as I'm not a professional photographer; hence my photo/editing skills are not at the level of some of you. Enjoy, i LOVE this lens!!!!! Bibi 50 1.4 Zeiss!
