can I download photos to zoombrowser from a cf reader instead of my camera when I bought my camera it came with zoombrowser 2.1 and had problems with it so I bought a cf reader and it has worked fine but I found this site today and found a link to an upgrade to zoombrowser and am currently downloading it . any help appreciated.

Yes,
I was quite impressed that zoombrowser gives you the option to look into the CF Reader for all new pictures. It sort of expects it as it expects the Camera to be connected. All that with Win2000 and a Jenoptic card reader writer which it was prety cheap indeed. regards |

Gary,
Yes you can as the previous contributor says. Just click on FILE->IMPORT IMAGES-> and look for your compact drive coming up as a drive letter. Mine comes up as letter 'G' with DCIM after it. It's a folder that must have been created either by ZoomBrowser or the camera itself and it is from here that I download the images from. Hope this helps. JohnMN |
