Default Elgato Turbo.264 Encoder - Anybody use?

Saw this product and the product description seems to be nice for HD camcorder stuff. I've got a Canon HF10 and currently just use iMovie or Quicktime for my outputs, but this encoder seems to make things easier and faster.

Anybody have any experience??
