Heron shots, can't really suggest much, they look good to me.

Love the pool shot, yes 3.4 fps can be too slow at times but you got a good sequence there for sure.

Thanks for the kind wishes ferretkingdom! Yes, I'm on the mend and I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time getting some use out of the T1i. I'm with you regarding the favorite out of the 3 images I posted. I would have liked to get a better shot of the heron flying, but the bird was very timid and I'm not quite up to spending a lot of time out in the cold wind. Perhaps when spring gets here I can get some better photos of this bird! Take care!

Thanks for looking at the 'heron shots' hpulley! I will try to get closer to the bird when the weather breaks a bit.

FSU, how do you like your slingshot backpack, I've been looking into getting one, its a bit more subtle than a camera bag and can still fit some other stuff in it as well, whats your opinion on it?

I am so thankful for a day of nice weather before the storm hits. The good weather led me to an old Ranch and I got to spend some quality time with my camera :]

C&C please. Which one? First, second, third, or fourth? I’m planning on picking all of them, but yeah, just kinda wondering, because this guy is sending one of these pictures to his mother, who’s kind of on her death bed, so this will probably be the last picture he’ll be sending her of him... Don’t know how I get caught up in crap like this, haha. Anyway... The first is the original, the second is the edited, third is original with black and white, and the fourth is edited with black and white.
