Out on the beginning of a game drive, Kruger. The spotter sits up front on chair mounted on the front of the game vehicle and points things out. The light was perfect, and I love this shot for some reason.

My favorite form of unconventional transportation... a pole. One of the only self-propelled ways to travel a good deal of length upon the x,y, and Z axis! The Z part is my favorite! On second thought.. maybe it's bad to travel on the y axis because that puts you off the mat.

I miss Pole Vaulting.. maybe when I get a steady career, I'll take it back up again. It's the "surfing" of land sports, you have to have a similar attitude. (This kid isn't a very nice person, for a vaulter, but I liked the shot composition so it's still one of my favorites)

Well I hate picking winners out of this crowd of excellent examples.

All the entries were great and there were some very unique forms/interpretations of transport that I really loved seeing!

I kept going back and forth on these three in particular so here it goes:

1st - JayceG - Well done Jayce, a very interesting take on the subject and combine that with a nice composition and exposure and you are the winner!

2nd - MSJGD - Great work as always Jean-Guy, your control of composition exposure and attention to detail always amazes me. I love these Monte tobaggans and the expression on the faces really makes this.

3rd - GenoDM - awesome job combining these Geno, I like everything about this but in the end the uniqueness of Jayce's and Jean-Guy's iinterpretations won me over.

Thanks all for participating - I enjoyed each and every shot. You are all winners in my book.
