I'm not sure if everyone know this or not...I was just messing around with the camera doing some video, and realized that you can control sharpness, saturation, and contrast for video. The button below the menu button brings up portrait, monochrome, landscape, etc. However you can turn the wheel to the right in any of the modes to gain control. I just thought I would pass this info on for anyone else who didn't know that was possible.
