Agree, great usage of what you have as they look pretty good here. Just didn't like having to sift through 32 of them, way to many...2/4 are my picks.

Are there sharpened in post processing?
Also, how heavily cropped are these?

Can you post a shot straight off the camera?

I concur, wroclawianie, these are exceptionally good! Where did you shoot these from, were you on the pitch while they playing?

Certainly, they have been sharpened in post processing.
Have a look at #31 and

this is how i crop pictures because i have got 200mm lens only (30D x1,6).

During the matches photographers are supposed to stay on two opposite sides of the pitch behind the goal-posts.

At any rate....I am a fan of your shots!! The action is good, lighting is nice and the sharpness is there. Keep it up!

I rented the 70-200L IS and found that at 200mm it was soft. These look much better. I also found 200mmm to be way too short, even at U12 youth soccer. I shot some around 155mm and they looked better. I had to crop everything as well.
I'm renting a 300F4 IS for this weekend's soccer tourney. I didn't want to spend the extra dough on the 300 2.8.

These are fantastic shots. My 40D can't come close with the 24-105 lens. I'd also like to know how you post processed them to get such sharpness and vivid colors.

You've got a great amount of action there. Are you shooting manually?
