Hi
Now i am starting anderstend how macro works but still have problem witch DOF. One good exempel for my DOF problem is picture NR1 i dont know how to reduce DOF. I know how to handle DOF without extansion tub but not witch can any bady give me a tips to how to reduce DOF witch extansion tub? PS How can i am add more that 2 photo? And sorry again for my bad ENG |

you need to tell us what settings you used. Not sure if you mean INCREASE depth of field rather than reduce as dof looks pretty shallow in #1 already?

ohh sorry my bad 1) focal showing 00 that means that camera cant find lens becouse my extension without AF TV 1/20 ISO 400 and AV 00 ( 2.8 ) 2) TV 1/250 AV 00 ISO 100 Flash+cord and soft box all this was mount on trierpod. I am using my tirepod for flash holder LOL, Japp how to INCREASE DOF witch extansion tube ore make it more shollow.

Good ones- lovely colour.
Sounds as if you have ext tubes with no contacts. Are you pre- setting the aperture of the lens before using the extension tubes ? You can do this by attaching the lens normally set an aperture in Av mode (say F8) press the DOF preview button and remove the lens whilst keeping the button depressed. Then put the ext tube on and attach the lens to it. Brian V.

Thanks guys for anser and help and Lordv i dont know what to say 1 miljon thanks for your help you slow all my problem witch 3 words LOL (press the DOF preview button and remove the lens) i am tok this shot for 1.30 hour ago 22 and by one shot i get nice result
