Canon LP1022 Soft Lens Pouch

I see the discription says this is for the 75-300 lens, but I am guessing it would also work just fine for the 70-300 4.5-5.6 IS USM lens I own. Would my Canon ET-65B Lens Hood also fit inside this pouch?

It says you need the LP1222 for the 70-300 4.5-5.6 IS USM. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...se_LP1222.html but I guess either will work. A lens hood reversed will fit into any pouch as it is still the same length as the lens. I use my pouches for my lens with the hoods reversed and they have plenty of room.

Yea but do yourself a favor and get a Lowepro lens case or something else. The Canon ones are overpriced and not that good IMO. I have the ones that came with all my L lenses and have never liked or used any of them beyond trying them out. They just dont offer enough protection if I want to carry my lens in a case.

I use my Canon soft lens cases to protect them from dirt and scratches. I then stick those into my Lowepro backpack so they now have double protection.

I looked at the Lowepro cases at Amazon but could not tell for sure which case would work with my 70-300 lens. Any help I could get getting the right case I would really appreciate. (link?) Thank you all! I love this forum!!!

Do you just want a top loader bag that holds the one camera and lens or something bigger that holds one camera and a couple lenses?

I want a case that will hold my lens and lens hood only for walk around purposes. I have a camera case to hold my camera and lenses. On the occasions I don't want to take everything with me, I want a case to hold my lens only when I switch lenses.
