Default One from the 10D at Thruxton

Sometimes the 10D comes up trumps, I think it likes to keep the 1D MkII on it's toes

Lens was the Sigma APO 500mm f/4.5 EX. Thanks for looking.

nice shot...except there is just something about the crop i dont like. the problem is i can't put my finger on it. the photo just doesn't balance well or something...i think it is because of the empty track in the bottom third of the shot, dunno. either way, nice work!! love the background with the two cars seen through the heat waves, mint.

oh yeah, do you take the 10D and MkII for counselling or do they tend to play nice together and have a friendly rivalry?

Great shot - you can see the heat haze - at least some areas had sunshine today!

Great picture Cadwell! I think me and the old man were talking to you on Sunday (the ones with the 300D)

Cheers

Nice work Cadwell. The heat behind the subkect really sets it apart from the backround. May be a little too much foreground.
Looks like he is just initiating a right hander as the chassis appears to have rolled to the left and unloaded the right front tire. Nice action.

Quite right on the corner. He was just entering "Seagrave" the last right hander which forms part of the complex at Thruxton. It's a fairly quick corner.

Just to prove it wasn't a fluke Here's one taken slightly earlier on the same straight.

The full collection is here BTCC Thruxton Gallery (It has some actual touring car shots in it )

Thanks for looking!

I love that last shot Cadwell.
It's clean, supersharp and the heat haze finishes it of perfectly

Looks like the walk down to Segrave paid dividends. I like the touring car shots from there 8)
