Talking Shots of my daughter, my first time to try head shots!

I've been learning how to take pictures for about a month now, took this about 2 weeks ago. Tried editing too. Comments are welcome.

This one came out a little blurry..It's so hard to take pictures of kids, I couldve got it one more second...But she just have to move..Lol. Don't know how to fix it...

Yep this one is blurry too, I tried to edit it so it won't be too obvious but it still is. If you guys could please give me an idea how to fix blur. Thanks a lot!

for blur: tripods and faster shutter speeds. the good thing with faster shutters is that you get to open that aperture up wide and you start to see that beautiful bokeh (background blur).

i love your tight cropping. yes, the blur is a little too much, but i would also focus on the eyes as much as possible. some the blur is "ok" but the eyes/eyebrows are soft. i think #4 is your sharpest shot of the lot.

keep practicing....i am no better...lol.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

Thanks for the info! Yeah I should use a tripod often since I don't have steady hands. I didn't crop the pics though, and I will remember to focus on the eyes more. I will keep practicing too!
