hood for 70-200 f/4 IS used on crop body
What would be the best hood (reversible or collapsible) for use with th 70-200 f4 IS on a 1.6x crop body?

Gotta agree. You won't find a bayonet mount other than the one Canon makes that'll fit. You'd need to look for a 67 mm screw-mount hood that's designed for up to a FF 135 or so to do any better as a shade.

Just use the one Canon provided and hope that the few degrees of un-hooded angles don't allow the introduction of flare (I sincerely doubt it would, because the 70-200 ƒ/4L IS is flare resistant, way more so than 2.8L IS) and destroy the photograph.
