Default RIP Michael Jackson C&C please

Actually, I am sick of this MJ crap. Was asked by the artist to shoot this piece last week. This is at a skatepark under a freeway, so the lighting is either shadows or bright golden. I tried to make it work, and would love your input.

The flare was intentional, you like it?

I'm curious...does the light happen to come in at the opposite end at all? to where the shadows would be going in the other direction?

"sick of this MJ crap" is a bit harsh, if i was the artist i woulda had someone else snap the picture

It's a nice shot, but I'd like to see it with the skatepark in use. It just looks a bit static to me.

maybe it's me, but it looks as though MJ has "a tent".
i like the pic, but perhaps someone grinding the rail behind (or similar) would have add pushed it over the edge

^^ + 1 for seeing some action in the BG. Although it does work nicely as is.

It does, but I believe it is blocked by some buildings before it gets under the skatepark. I could definitely give it a shot though.

Pete & Johen- Definitely. I should come back with a good skater. Most of the kids their are either trying to sell weed or learning to ollie, so to get someone good enough to make the picture cool would be the biggest struggle. As for the tent... Yeah, thats pretty funny.

Phil- I have it with and without, and to me it just adds some interest. It is kind of a dirty place and it makes the light harsher and more real feeling.

Thanks for the input everyone. The artist was pretty stoked on the image.
