Which Ball head?

I narrowed it down to these 2 heads that I like.
Looking at putting one of them on a Manfrotto 055xprob tripod legs.

488RC2

Anyone have any pros/cons about either one.

488!
Pros: it's not a grip head!

Seriously, your far better off with a real ball head, the grip heads are a poor substitute.

I have and prefer 488RC2. If you have a rotating colum you can save a few grams and a few pennys with the 484RC2.Ball head is also more compact for transport.
