Default Berkelah Waterfall, Pahang, Malaysia

Berkelah Waterfall, Pahang, Malaysia

Bekelah Waterfall is located in Pahang, 46km before Kuantan Town from Kuala Lumpur.

From the starting point, it is require 8km trekking or 2 hour walking to reach the waterfalls. It is a beautiful series of eight cascades with the highest & biggest about 60m in height. The whole hill is actually one huge granite block with the river cutting through the stone hill.

At the end of the hike is the first campsite in the woods where there's a magnificent looking twin-falls of about 30 meters tall. Higher up have more falls and there is one with a deep pool below the main fall which is popular as a "diving platform". On both side of the deep pool got one 15m height jumping stage for those like the free flow feeling jump into water and one sleeping stage for stary night viewing.

The second pool after the deep pool call small swimming pool, one of the clearest pool. Most visitor like to play around in this pool coz it look safe and have a lots of opportunities to indulge in natural jacuzzi and hydrotheraphy.

Wow, i didn't know it was that far. Ah, the map shows it is actually closer from Berkelah to Tioman Island than to Cameron Highlands.
I enjoy your nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
