Sorry not a big fan of the PP, looks rather cartoonish to me. He's a cutie with brilliant eyes, I'd aim to highlight his features and find a less distracting background.

What about the pp seems cartoonish? As in what should I tone down on? I am trying to get a good solid fun fresh color PP. That can be one of my main PP workflows. I tend to do a lot of fun crazy PP..but need a solid color one.

The skin has lost detail. His shirt and face blend with the wooden walk. He has a white glow around his face and a yellow glow around his hair. I would really try and burn/darken the background the let him rule the foreground. Could you share the original to see what was done?

I tried to isolate him from the background.

Ha! Thanks Ryan Do you think he is too bright in both edits? Or just the first? I have a hard time with his skin sometimes.
