Default New York Skyline

Here is a recent picture i took of the Manhatten Skyline. C&C appreciated. I know its been done a thousand times also.

it looks quite nice, the composition is ok too.

but the whole image seems a bit blurry, or shaky... any idea what this is from? (mirror slap, shutter button pressure, unstable tripod?)

I'm still trying to figure out why? All the shots ended up like this. they were taken on a tripod with a remote shutter? Only thing was maybe the center column wasn't tight and when the shutter clicked it shook? Any insight would be appreciated.

the reason could simply be that the shots are out of focus. if i look at the picture more precisely, i can see the bridge being in focus way at the edge of the image. i think you had a small aperture (f9 or something) and missed the focalpoint a bit... did you use center AF at all?

post up some exif if you can...

Perhaps stop it down some more.
When I shot the same thing last year, I was at f22, 30sec...came out very sharp...
