I just saw this cool contest and wanted to share with everyone, you can win a trip to Antarctica to shoot with on assignment Nat Geo photographer Jason Edwards!

It would seem that you work for the company that is promoting this trip, lassocommunications. That's your email addy at another forum you posted this same message to. Not saying anything is amiss with the contest, mind you. All looks fair otherwise.

Yeah. He's a photojournlist: integrity matters.

As I read it, ordinary image processing (color correction, levels and curves, minor cropping) is fine, but digital manipulation is not. Compositing, "creative" retouching, and extreme contrast/saturation adjustments fall into this category.

More nature and wildlife photographers are using these techniques to make their pictures more saleable. But it's an aesthetic that leads to a Michael Bay version of reality.

It's not a hate of post processing, it's more relevant to the genre of photography he shoots in. Check out some stuff on rueters to read more about their guidlines for pp
