Default Two indoor HDRs. Please critique

These are both experimental. I wanted that grungy look to do something artistic. I cranked the Gamma all the way to the left, messed with luminosity, maxed out the strength and saturation, but minimized the smoothing.

This first one is of my kitchen

This next one is just a few trinkets I collected.

Maybe it's just me but in the first, if the counter wasn't blown out on the corner, I think it'd be a little better. The second....I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't quite do it for me at all.

sorry, they don't do it for me. i doubt that these scenes require HDR processing -- their dynamic range should fit well within a well exposed single shot (maybe with the exception of the ceiling lights, but there's no details there in your processed image either).

The strong orange cast kills them for me, but the Chick-Fil-A cup is worth a few ratings points.

Thanks for the feedback. I realise most HDR guys don't like that grungy look, but it strikes me how. I like it. Granted, I like the realistic HDR better, but still.

Thanks for the comments.

FWIW, I like the grungy aspect, just think the tones need to be cooled off.

Agreed with my buddy, Brad (polarbare)... these shots have a lot of potential but are too warm for my taste. Try sliding down the temp slider and see what you get with that. I do like where you're going with these shots, though.
