An alcoholic ponders for what seems ages. As the walking lights turn green, this person stays their course, their mind washing through a gritty haze.

I personally love this shot.
I feel that you are telling a story with this photo very nicely. For me, I almost feel like I'm in his shoes seeing the world in a cluttered state of being. It looks like it's straight out of a movie. It's a good photojournalistic representation of the sadness in the world. Good job. |

Eh, your little story kind of creeped me out, and you posted the picture too large.
Besides that, I really like this shot, very interesting and powerful. |

I like the cinematic feeling the crop and black border is presenting.

The image speaks for itself and he seems to be so isolated with the distant crowd on the other side of the street. The bench he is sitting in also seems to be a fence around himself.
I like it very much even though it is a sad reflection of reality. |

I saw this man as well on my way to tafe, sleeping on the side of the road near a younger man who was playing guitar only yesterday. He was a sad sight, laying there all alone with a bottle beside him, totally unaware of the world around him. I should take these more journalistic shots.

Thank you all for your great feedback.
Paul - apologies for posting the image too large. I guess it's a n00b blunder |
